Cloud Pop Snack Company started the same way most great things do — completely by accident.

What began as simple curiosity quickly turned into a full-blown hobby. We got our hands on a freeze dryer and started experimenting just to see what would happen. One batch turned into ten… ten turned into late nights… and before we knew it, we were hooked.

There’s something wild about taking the snacks you grew up with and experiencing them in a completely new way. Familiar flavors transform. Textures flip. Candy crunches instead of chews. Fruit becomes light, airy, and intensely flavorful. Every run still feels like opening a surprise.

Friends and family started trying our batches… then asking for more. What started as “you’ve gotta taste this” turned into requests, then orders, then the realization:

Cloud Pop Snack Company was born from that moment — not from a boardroom, but from genuine excitement. We’re a small-batch snack company based in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, operating under Virginia cottage food laws, and producing everything in limited runs right here at home.

Because we’re small-batch, we focus on quality, consistency, and flavor — not mass production. Orders are prepared locally and available for local pickup only, and you’ll often find us set up at small vendor events, pop-ups, and local markets throughout the Hampton Roads region.

Today, we’re still experimenting, still taste-testing, and still chasing that feeling we had on the very first batch — the moment we realized classic snacks could be transformed into something totally new.
